                                                             Montjuic

Barcelona was a great finish to my winter vacation extravaganza! We checked out a lot of Gaudi architecture, like Park Guell, Casa Batlló, and the unfinished church of Sagrada Familia. As well as Montjuic and the Miro Foundation, where they had an excellent collection of his paintings as well as sculptures donated by his friends and family. The foundation also shows exhibitions which rotate all year. There is also a small Dali museum filled with his early prints, ceramics, bronze sculptures, as well as sketches and water colour paintings.  It really shows a side of Dali never seen from his well established work. We also rented Vespas on the last day, toured the city and hit the beach!
